Add water to the premix to make a soft paste. Pan fry little dollops to make nuggets or make burger size patties.

Indian teatime is never complete without a savoury snack and Lentil fritters are the popular ones. The inspiration for LENbites came from the fritters that I have grown up eating.
Only 2 step method to make LENbites, that everyone will love! These quick, easy and healthy nuggets serve as a snack and also as a finger food to impress your guests at your next house party.
We Aussies love a burger on the grill and LENbites as a vegetarian burger patty is super easy to make. Crunchy on the outside and moist from inside with a flavour that is just perfect, LENbites is a crowd winner. Now getting lentils in the little bellies is easier for every parent!

They are 100% plant based and suitable for Vegans.

INGREDIENTS: Red lentil, Yellow Mung, Chana Dahl, Bi-carb soda, Citric acid, Garlic powder, Fennel powder, Ginger powder, Black pepper, Coriander powder, Turmeric, Salt, Dried fenugreek leaf

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in a cool dry place
ALLERGEN ADVICE - Made in a facility that handles nuts, soy, gluten

DIRECTIONS TO USE
1.Weigh 30gms of LENbites premix. Add 30 gm of grated zucchini and mix well.
2.Add a little amount of water to make a wet mixture. If not adding any veggie add 30-40mls water to 30gm LENbites premix. Add water little at a time so that mixture is not too runny. You should able to lift it like a dollop with a spoon.
3.Heat 2-3tbsp cooking oil in a frypan and add a spoonful of wet mixture in the hot oil. Gently flatten the top with a spoon to make flat nuggets.
4.Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 2-3 minutes till golden brown and then flip on the other side.
5.Cook on the other side for 2-3 mins as well or till the nuggets are golden and crispy.
Now, enjoy them piping hot and crispy with sauce of your choice
Tip: If making for kids lunch box food, increase the quantity of zucchini or veggie to keep the nugget moist even when it is eaten cold.
