Yogi Bowl is a traditional Ayurvedic meal called “Khichari” that has been consumed since centuries in India and is still cooked in every Indian household. Our family tradition was having Khichari for lunch every Saturday. Combination of rice and pulses makes this is a nutritionally balanced meal that has all the essential amino acids. With spices like turmeric to boost your immunity and asafoetida, fennel and ginger for gut health, this meal is gentle on your tummy, nourishing for your body and a great comfort food!
This Simple, Wholesome Nourishing Ayurvedic meal is suitable for the entire family including toddlers and elderly as well.

INGREDIENTS: Arborio rice, Green mung beans, Red lentils, Yellow mung dhal, Chana dhal, salt, turmeric, ginger, garlic, black pepper, fennel, Asafoetida
Spice sachet : Cumin, Fennel, Mustard, Bayleaf
Allergen information: Made in a facility that handles nuts, soy and gluten
DIRECTIONS TO USE
1. Heat a saucepan/pot and add 1tbsp of oil of your choice. Add the whole spices of the spice sachet and let them crackle for 30seconds.
2. Now add Yogi Bowl™ premix and toast it for 1minute on low heat.
3. For every 1 cup of Yogi Bowl premix Add 5 cups of water.
4. Now add 1 cup chopped up fresh veggies or frozen veggies of your choice.
5.Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
6. Stir a few times while cooking to ensure that it is not sticking to the bottom. DO NOT over stir.
7. Once cooked, rest it for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
Tip: Add different veggies every time you cook to create a different version of the Yogi Bowl.
